The space
Within the shape of an old Vietnamese tube house, HIÊN's three floors open onto three regional cultures — each floor its own character, its own scent, its own story. So that every step through HIÊN is also a step in discovering Vietnam.
The character of the North is present in the soft scent of pomelo blossom, in images of Hoan Kiem Lake, in calligraphy and Bát Tràng ceramics — quiet and graceful, like the Hanoi of an earlier time.
Drawn from Hội An, the room carries the warm tones of tiled roofs, lanterns and jasmine — plain, peaceful and full of memory.
Bamboo, rattan and greenery with the scent of pandan evoke a cool, open and familiar South — where nature slips into every pause.
Floors 2 and 3 hold just two beds in a single area, well suited to couples or to guests who would rather keep the space to themselves. Please book ahead so the room can be held for you.

The biggest difference is that you choose: your steam herbs, your hair wash, your mask, your oil and scent — instead of a fixed formula. HIÊN's three floors are also designed around the North, Central and South of Vietnam, so each has its own space, scent and feeling.
An ordinary wash is shampoo and rinse. At HIÊN it is seven steps: jade stone therapy, herbal steam, facial cleanse and massage, herbal hair wash, scalp detox, continuous water flow, then head, neck and shoulder massage. The infusion is simmered fresh from herbs each day — never pre-mixed. It is 75 minutes of care, not 20 minutes of cleaning.
Yes. Each package combines individual services at 15% to 40% off the total. HIÊN BẮC, for example, is herbal head spa with scalp detox (550,000 VND) plus a hair treatment (350,000 VND) — 900,000 VND separately, 720,000 VND as a package. The individual price list is published so you can check for yourself.
Yes. When booking you can name your preferred floor — The North (floor 1), The Central (floor 2) or The South (floor 3). We will arrange it if the slot is free. The earlier you book, the more likely your choice is available.
A head spa at HIÊN does more than clean the hair: it includes herbal steam, scalp detox, jade stone therapy and head, neck and shoulder massage, all using Vietnamese botanicals such as bồ kết, holy basil, false daisy and pomelo peel. It takes longer, and the aim is relaxation and scalp health rather than washing alone.
Please tell us when booking, or during the consultation at the start. Because every treatment includes a step where you choose your own herbs, your therapist can adjust the blend and leave out anything you need to avoid.
Yes. HIÊN's three floors run in parallel, so small groups can be seated without a long wait. Please get in touch ahead of time so we can hold the space. Hotels, tour agencies and guides can see our partner programme.
